Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, June 10, 2021, the committee resumed its study of eliminating hate crimes and violence against women and marginalized groups.

Nafisah Chowdhury and Faakhra Choudhry made statements and answered questions.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:14 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $10,200, for the study of eliminating hate crimes and violence against women and marginalized groups, be adopted.

At 1:00 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
