Minutes of Proceedings
Kelly Block moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c), the committee undertake an emergency study of four meetings into the awarding by the federal government of a $900 million sole-sourced contract to WE Charity, as well as prior contracts to this organization; that the study include an inquiry as to why the federal public service was unable to administer the Canada Student Service Grant; and that the following Ministers be invited to appear before the Committee: the Minister of Public Services and Procurement Canada, the President of the Treasury Board, the Minister of Employment and Social Development Canada, and the Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth.
The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
