Pursuant to the order of reference of Saturday, April 11, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Minister made a statement and, with Stephen Lucas, Tina Namiesniowski, Michael Strong and Theresa Tam, answered questions.

At 12:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jan Simpson made a statement and answered questions.

It was moved: — That, in the context of its study of the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the witnesses to be invited for the four meetings of the committee following Friday, May 29, 2020 be those identified on meetings number 11 through 14, respectively, on the draft workplan dated Friday, May 22, 2020.

The question was put and was agreed to on the following recorded division:
