Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, October 4, 2017, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-48, An Act respecting the regulation of vessels that transport crude oil or persistent oil to or from ports or marine installations located along British Columbia's north coast.

Marc Bernier, Gregory Lick and Kim Kasperski made statements and, with Heather McCready, Carl E. Brown and Christine Siminowski, answered questions.

At 4:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:33 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $13,400, for the study of water quality, be adopted.
