Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, December 1, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of aviation safety.

Aaron Speer and Edward McKeogh, by videoconference from Montréal, Quebec, made statements and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Tony Clement moved, — That the Committee invite Jennifer Stebbing to appear for one hour prior to Friday, June 16, 2017.

Vance Badawey moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 5; NAYS: 3.

The Committee resumed consideration of the motion in the name of Tony Clement.

Robert Aubin moved, — That the Committee invite the Minister of Transport, the Hon. Marc Garneau, to testify as part of the study on aviation safety.
