Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, May 30, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of certain provisions of the Fair Rail for Grain Farmers Act.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 9:47 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, February 22, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) regulations.

Rudy Kellar, Hugh Liu, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Kamran Behdinan, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, made statements and, with Brian Guimond, answered questions.

At 10:44 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:45 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for an interim report.
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to its study of a Canadian Transportation and Logistics Strategy, the Committee travel to Iqaluit, Nunavut, Yellowknife and Hay River, North-West Territories, and Whitehorse, Yukon, the week of Monday, February 6, 2017, provided that no member expresses an objection to the Chair in the next 24 hours.

At 11:07 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
