Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Canadian transportation and logistics strategy.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Establishing a Canadian Transportation and Logistics Strategy: Part 2".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in public.

At 11:44 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:44 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a letter in relation to the study of the National Trade Corridors Fund and be sent to the Minister of Transport with a copy to the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities as well as the Minister of Environment and Climate Change.

It was agreed, — That the Chair write a letter to the Department of Indigenous Services Canada to express the Committee's dissatisfaction with the written response that was provided on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, and request that a new response be provided as soon as possible.

At 11:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
