Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, April 11, 2019, the Committee commenced its study of the update on the delivery of infrastructure to Indigenous communities.

Claudia Ferland made a statement and, with Chad Westmacott and Nelson Barbosa, answered questions.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:10 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on November 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of bus passenger safety.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Bus Passenger Safety".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than Friday, May 31, 2019.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, due to the extension of sitting hours in the House, the meetings of Tuesday, June 11, 2019, Thursday, June 13, 2019, and Tuesday, June 18, 2019, be cancelled.

It was agreed, — That the Committee meet on Thursday, June 20, 2019, for the joint appearance of the Minister of Rural Economic Development and the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities.

At 12:57 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
