[Recorded by Electronic Apparatus]

[English]
I call the meeting to order.
Today we're looking at Bill S-232, sponsored by Michael Levitt.
Alexandre, do you want to report on whether, in your view, it's okay or if there are any problems?
The only criterion that applies to Senate bills is whether the bill is essentially the same as one already voted on by the House of Commons in the current session. I didn't find any similar bill that has been voted on.
Yes, unless we have unanimous consent.
Do we have unanimous consent on this one?
Some hon. members: Agreed.
A voice: Let's just read the motion.
The Chair: The motion is that the subcommittee present a report listing those items which it has determined should not be designated non-votable and recommending that they be considered by the House.
(Motion agreed to)
The Chair: Mr. Bagnell will present this tomorrow after question period.
I wish everybody a great summer.
