Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of cybersecurity in the financial sector as a national economic security issue.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, the Committee invite the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness and senior officials to appear in relation to its anticipated study of Bill C-98, An Act to amend the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act and the Canada Border Services Agency Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, for one hour on Monday, June 17, 2019, and that senior officials remain for the second hour for clause-by-clause consideration of the Bill.

It was agreed, — That, the Committee meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019, in order to continue consideration of a draft report in relation to its study of cybersecurity in the financial sector as a national economic security issue.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the Committee's consideration of a draft report for its study of cybersecurity in the financial sector as a national economic security issue, parties submit their suggested recommendations in both official languages to the Clerk by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, and that those recommendations be distributed to Members that same day.

At 5:37 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
