Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, November 27, 2017, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-59, An Act respecting national security matters.

The Minister made a statement and, with Greta Bossenmaier and Shelly Bruce, answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Motion

Pierre Paul-Hus moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee invite the Prime Minister’s National Security Advisor, Daniel Jean, to provide the committee with the same briefing he gave to journalists on Friday, February 23, 2018, and that the briefing take place in public and no later than Friday, March 30, 2018.

Michel Picard moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.
