Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Subcommittee proceeded to a briefing with the president of the Foreign Affairs Commission of Venezuela.

Luis Florido made a statement and, with Luis Emilio Rondón Hernández, Freddy Guevara and William Dávila, answered questions.

At 2:05 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
