The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.

It was agreed, — That the scope of the study on human trafficking in India be broadened to include a regional approach to the issue and be renamed human trafficking in Southeast Asia.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget, as amended, in the amount of $ 15,900, for the study of human trafficking in Southeast Asia, be adopted.

Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee Wednesday, December 7, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study of the Human Rights Situation in South Sudan.

The Subcommittee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 1:58 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
