Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Thursday, June 16, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study of Yezidis, Christians and Other Religious and Ethnic Minorities in Syria and Iraq.

Mirza Ismail made a statement and answered questions.

At 1:59 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:01 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Committee Business
The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Subcommittee, in consultation with the Chair, issue a news release on the Update on the Human Rights Situation in Aleppo, Syria.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Subcommittee, in consultation with the Chair, issue a news release to Update on the Human Rights Situation of the Rohingya Minority in Myanmar.

At 2:07 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
