Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on June 16, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study on the Human Rights Situation in Burundi.

Jacqueline Hansen, Ketty Nivyabandi and Pacifique Manirakiza made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That Pacifique Manirakiza speaking notes be added to the transcript of today's meeting as if it were read into the record.

At 2:03 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
