Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study of the current human rights situation of the Rohingya in Myanmar.

Kyaw Win, by videoconference from Geneva, Switzerland, and Rebecca Wolsak made statements and, with Samantha McGavin, answered questions.

At 1:47 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:48 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That Witness-Témoin 1 be invited to address the Subcommittee.

Witness-Témoin 1 made a statement and, with Kyaw Win, by videoconference from Geneva, Switzerland, Rebecca Wolsak and Samantha McGavin, answered questions.

At 2:02 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
