Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Thursday, June 16, 2016, the Subcommittee commenced its study of the human rights situation in Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.
