Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed a briefing on the human rights situation in Iran.

Payam Akhavan, by videoconference from London, England, and Mark Dubowitz, made statements and answered questions.

At 2:06 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
