Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of strategic electricity inter-ties.

Marc Brouillette, Tom Adams, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Nicholas Martin made statements and answered questions.

At 4:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:37 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Marvin Shaffer by, videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, James Hinds by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Jim R.Burpee, by videoconference from Mississauga, Ontario, made statements and answered questions.

At 5:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:28 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 39,700, for the study of strategic electricity inter-ties, be adopted.

At 5:29 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
