Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Future of Canada’s Oil and Gas, Mining and Nuclear Sectors: Innovation, Sustainable Solutions and Economic Opportunities.

On motion of Mark Strahl, it was agreed, — That the Committee invite the Honourable James Carr, the Minister of Natural Resources, to testify about the Supplementary Estimates (B) on or before December 6, 2016.

Jerry Hopwood and Glenn Harvel made statements and answered questions.

At 9:47 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Éric Turcotte by videoconference from Sherbrooke, Quebec, Jean Koclas and Christoper Heysel made statements and, with Karin Stephenson, answered questions.

At 10:45 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
