The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(i), the Committee undertake a site visit to the West Block of the Parliamentary Precinct.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 19, 2016, the Committee resumed its review of the Standing Orders, procedure and practice in the House and its committees.

It was agreed, — That the Committee solicit input from the House Leaders in relation to the possible modification of Standing Order 28(3) in respect of the meeting time of the House of Commons in an emergency situation.

At 11:15 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:16 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, January 28, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of initiatives toward a family-friendly House of Commons.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 11:23 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:27 a.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in public.

At 11:31 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:32 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of the question of privilege related to the matter of the premature disclosure of the contents of Bill C-14, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make related amendments to other Acts (medical assistance in dying).

At 11:40 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
