The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the access to information request received by Public Services and Procurement Canada and communicated to the Committee on Friday, May 24, 2019, to which documents related to the Committee’s proceedings are not responsive, the Committee instruct the Clerk to authorize disclosure of said documents, with the understanding that they remain protected by parliamentary privilege.

It was agreed, — That, further to the Committee’s decision of Thursday, April 11, 2019, to translate its 66th Report, entitled “The Use of Indigenous Languages in Proceedings of the House of Commons and Committees”, into the Indigenous languages spoken by the witnesses who appeared during the study, 25 copies in each language be printed for distribution to the list of recipients prepared by the Clerk and analysts; and that the report also be translated into Inuktitut for publication on the Committee’s website.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii), the Committee resumed its study of parallel debating chambers.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the Committee resume consideration of the draft report during the second hour of the meeting of Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

At 12:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:53 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, the Committee resumed its study of the mandate of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs and oversight of the Centre Block rehabilitation project and the long term vision and plan.

It was agreed, — That, on Thursday, May 30, 2019, the Committee meet in camera to consider a proposed amendment to Standing Order 108(3)(a).

At 12:55 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
