Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee resumed consideration of Special Examination Report - National Capital Commission, of the Fall 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the Chair, on behalf of the Committee, write to the Minister of Canadian Heritage to request information concerning the progress of the plans for the renovation of 24 Sussex Drive, one the official residences of the Prime Minister.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Special Examination Report - National Capital Commission, of the 2017 Fall Reports of the Auditor General of Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(), the Committee resumed consideration of Special Examination Report, Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, of the Fall 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Special Examination Report - Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, of the 2017 Fall Reports of the Auditor General of Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, subject to the appropriate approvals from the Liaison Committee and the Board of Internal Economy, the Committee host the Annual Conference of the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees (CCPAC) and Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors (CCOLA) Annual Conference in 2021 and that the Chair in coordination with the Clerk seek the necessary approvals.

At 4:35 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
