Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, the Committee commenced consideration of Report 4, Mental Health Support for Members — Royal Canadian Mounted Police, of the Spring 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada referred to the Committee on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

Michael Ferguson and Bob Paulson made statements and, with Joanne Pratt and Daniel Dubeau, answered questions.

At 5:03 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:06 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Pursuant to the motion adopted on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, the Chair informed the Committee that a gift was presented to the parliamentary delegation from Bangladesh that met with the Committee on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee resumed consideration of the Public Accounts of Canada 2016, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Public Accounts of Canada 2016".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
