Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the modernization of the Official Languages Act.

Jean Johnson made a statement and, with Alain Dupuis, answered questions.

At 12:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:13 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 21, 2019, the Committee resumed its study of the subject matter of the Interim Estimates 2019-20: Vote 1 under Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the Committee congratulate Catherine Cano on her appointment as Administrator of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

At 1:06 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
