The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 4:01 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit to hear the Minister's opening statement.

• Hubert Lussier, Assistant Deputy Minister, Citizenship, Heritage and Regions
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on March 24, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of The Minister's mandate and the Mid-term evaluation of the ongoing Official Languages Roadmap.

The Minister made an opening statement .

At 3:50 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:25 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

On motion of Bernard Généreux, it was agreed, — That the clerk of the Committee take the necessary steps to make reservations at the Parliamentary Restaurant, for a working Lunch between Committee Members and the Chief Justice of the Quebec Superior Court, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at noon, and that the cost of this activity be covered by the Committee’s Budget.
