Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Access to the Justice System.

It was agreed, — That the Committee resume consideration of the draft report on Monday, October 16, 2017.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to Bill C-51, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and the Department of Justice Act and to make consequential amendments to another Act, the Committee invite the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada to appear on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.

At 4:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
