Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Minister and department officials be invited to appear before the Committee to begin consideration of Bill C-25, An Act to amend the Canada Business Corporations Act, the Canada Cooperatives Act, the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, and the Competition Act, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, or as soon as possible thereafter.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to Bill C-25, Members of the Committee submit their preliminary list of witnesses to the Clerk of the Committee by Thursday, February 2, 2017.

Manufacturing Sector
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on March 10, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the manufacturing sector.

At 10:48 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
