Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study of subject matter of the Supplementary Estimates (C), 2017-18: Votes 1c and 10c under Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Votes 3c, 7c and 13c under Department of Indigenous Services Canada; and

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study of subject matter of the Interim Estimates 2018-19: Vote 1 under Canadian High Arctic Research Station, Votes 1, 5, 10, L15 and L20 under Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Votes 1, 5 and 10 under Department of Indigenous Services Canada.


Carolyn Bennett made a statement and, with Diane Lafleur and Paul Thoppil, answered questions.

At 4:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:30 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jane Philpott made a statement and, with Jean-François Tremblay, Sony Perron and Paul Thoppil, answered questions.

At 5:15 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit until 5:25 p.m.

At 5:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
