Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 5, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of fire safety and emergency management in Indigenous communities.

Joe Alphonse made a statement and, with Jody Nishima and Daana Gilpin, answered questions.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:06 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Edward John made a statement and answered questions.

At 1:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
