It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, the Clerk of the Committee be authorized to distribute Committee documents relative to Bill C-65, An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (harassment and violence), the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act and the Budget Implementation Act, 2017, No. 1 to the following Members of Parliament: Randy Boissonnault, Julie Dabrusin, Pam Damoff, Ted Falk, Sean Fraser, Garnett Genuis, Rachael Harder, Tom Kmiec, and Anita Vandenbeld.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to Bill C-65, An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (harassment and violence), the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act and the Budget Implementation Act, 2017, No. 1, and notwithstanding the routine motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, Members’ staff be excluded from attending the meeting with witnesses with lived experience of workplace harassment or sexual violence.
It was agreed, — That the Committee study the Interim Estimates 2018-19, and that in relation to this study the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour and departmental officials be invited to appear.
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Advancing Inclusion and Quality of Life for Seniors".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12 point font, single line spacing, left aligned; that titles be in Cambria 14 point font; and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
