Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, March 21, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.

It was agreed, — That, regarding the Committee's study of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, members shall submit any proposed recommendations to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Friday, June 3, 2016.

It was agreed, — That notwithstanding the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, the draft report on the study of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program be distributed to members on Friday, June 10, 2016.

Jamie Liew, Pinky Paglingayen, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Casey Vander Ploeg and Anthony P. Pollard made statements and answered questions.

At 4:36 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:42 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Rory McAlpine, Vincent Wong, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario and Hubert Bolduc, by videoconference from Montreal, Quebec made statements and with Martin Goulet, by videoconference from Montreal, Quebec answered questions.
