The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted on January 30, 2018, the deadline for written submissions for the study of Indigenous women in the federal justice and correctional systems be extended to Monday, April 23, 2018.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to its study of barriers facing women in politics, 36 witnesses be invited to appear before the Committee based on the proportions agreed to during today’s meeting.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, November 14, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the economic security of women in Canada.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 4:57 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
