Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, November 14, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the economic security of women in Canada.

Ruth Halperin-Kaddari, by videoconference from Geneva, Switzerland, and Beba Svigir, by videoconference from Calgary, Alberta, made statements and answered questions.

At 12:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Frances McRae made a statement and, with Kristen Underwood, Jonathan Will, Douglas Wolfe and Nathalie Poirier-Mizon, answered questions.

At 1:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
