Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, November 14, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the economic security of women in Canada.

Jennifer Watts, by videoconference from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Tanya van Biesen, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, made statements and answered questions.

At 9:42 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:45 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Tracy J. Lee and Marlene Poitras, by videoconference from Edmonton, Alberta, Phyllis Grace Steeves and Valerie Kaufman made statements and answered questions.

At 10:43 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
