Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing on the Status of Women Canada.

Meena Ballantyne made a statement and, with Nanci-Jean Waugh, Linda Savoie and Justine Akman, answered questions.

On motion of Sean Fraser, it was agreed, — That Anju Dhillon, M.P. be permitted to participate at the in camera meeting.

At 4:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:29 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 5:20 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
