Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of challenges faced by senior women with a focus on the factors contributing to their poverty and vulnerability.

Kathy Majowski, by videoconference from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Bonnie Brayton, Helen Kennedy, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Chaneesa Ryan made statements and, with Roseann Martin, answered questions.

At 10:01 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:03 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 10:05 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

Shirley Allan and Arline Wickersham made statements and answered questions.

At 10:22 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
