Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, December 3, 2018, the Committee proceeded to a briefing on the government’s efforts to immediately end the practice of forced and coerced sterilization of Indigenous women.

Valerie Gideon made a statement and answered questions.

At 4:24 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
