At 11:33 a.m., Ron Liepert took the Chair.
At 11:35 a.m., Robert D. Nault took the Chair.
At 12:16 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 12:19 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Strengthening Canadian Engagement in Eastern Europe and Central Asia ".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the report be printed with a special cover that has previously been approved by the Committee.
The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the Subcommittee on International Human Rights' study of the human rights situation in Somalia, the proposed budget in the amount of $7,300.00 be adopted.
At 12:39 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
