Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Thursday, April 14, 2016 and section 20 of the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act, the Committee resumed the statutory review of the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act and the Special Economic Measures Act.

Vincent DeRose and Milos Barutciski made statements and answered questions.

Melissa Hanham, by videoconference from Monterey, California, and James Walsh, by videoconference from Cambridge, Massachusetts, made statements and answered questions.

By unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
