Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing on the human rights situation in Iran.

Shirind Ebadi, by videoconference from London, England, and Masih Alinejad made statements and answered questions.

At 9:47 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:50 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Nikahang Kowsar and Richard Ratcliffe made statements and answered questions.

At 10:46 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
