Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, the Committee resumed its study of the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence and algorithms.

André Leduc, An Tang, and Brent Mittelstadt, by videoconference from Oxford, United Kingdom, made statements and, with Nicholas Neuheimer, answered questions.

At 5:04 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
