Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of the subject matter of certain sections of Bill C-86, A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 27, 2018 and other measures.

It was agreed, — That the Chair of the Committee, in collaboration with the Clerk and analysts, draft a letter to the Chair of the Standing Committee on Finance, informing him of the Committee's study of the subject matter of certain sections of Bill C-86, and that a majority of the Committee has no recommendations or suggested amendments to provide at this time.

At 4:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:04 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of clean growth and climate change in Canada: international leadership.

Nancy Hamzawi and Greg Flato made statements and, with Matt Jones and Judy Meltzer, answered questions.

At 5:04 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
