Pursuant to Standing Order 32(5), the Committee commenced consideration of the Reports of the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development - Fall 2018, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

Julie Gelfand, Gwen Goodier, Heather McCready, David Morin, Adam Burns and Roger Roberge made statements and, with Kimberley Leach, James McKenzie, Philippe Morel, Michelle Sanders, Tamaini Snaith and Grant Hogg, answered questions.

At 5:12 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:17 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Tenth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

1) That, in relation to the study of Clean Growth and Climate Change: International Leadership:

a. the Committee proceed to have six meetings with witnesses, commencing on Tuesday, October 16, 2018;

b. any further proposed witnesses for the said study be submitted to the Clerk no later than Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

2) That the Analysts prepare an outline of possible future studies for the Subcommittee’s consideration, based on the recommendations provided.

At 5:27 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
