It was agreed, — That the eight report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:

Your Subcommittee met on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That the draft report on family reunification distributed no later than the beginning of day on January 23, 2017, and that it be considered by the Committee during the first meeting after the winter adjournment period;

2. That the representative from the United Nations High Commission for Refugees be invited to appear before the Committee during the first hour on December 1, 2016.

3. That the second hour of the meeting on December 1, 2016, be reserved for the consideration of a confidential letter to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship on the subject of the Resettling Yazidi Girls and Women study.

4. That the Committee’s study on modernization of client service delivery begin on December 8, 2016.

5. That the Committee’s study on modernization of client service delivery consist of five (5) meetings, including any travel, drafting instructions, and the consideration of the draft report.

6. That the Committee’s study on modernization of client service delivery include, but not be limited to, the following topic areas: the Minister and senior officials from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, technology, comparison with international jurisdictions, front line workers, the private sector; end users and 3rd party suppliers.

7. That the deadline for witnesses to be submitted to the Clerk be December 2, 2016, at 5 p.m.

8. That the two (2) meetings not dedicated to travel, departmental officials or consideration of a draft report be used to hear evidence from twelve (12) witnesses, and that these witnesses be scheduled following the standard practice of the Committee – three (3) witnesses per one (1) hour panel, divided proportionally amongst the parties: seven (7) witnesses for the Liberal Party, four (4) witnesses for the Conservative Party, and one (1) witness for the New Democratic Party.
