Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, the Committee resumed its study on the federal government’s initiative to resettle Syrian refugees to Canada.

Randall Croutze, Carolyn Davis and Mirza Hakeem Baig made statements and, with Salahudin Khan, answered questions.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:08 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Amer Alhendawi, with the help of interpreter Yohannes K. Sawassi, Nouri Haidar Al Hassani, Emily Woods and Thomas Vincent made statements and, with Paul Clarke, answered questions.

At 1:03 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
