The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee meet at a later date to discuss drafting instructions for a report regarding its study of settlement services across Canada.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, April 29, 2019, the Committee commenced its study of the subject matter of clauses 291 to 300 (Part 4, Division 15) (An Act respecting the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants) of Bill C-97, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 19, 2019 and other measures.

The Minister made a statement and, with Natasha Kim and Lori MacDonald, answered questions.

At 4:00 p.m., Jenny Kwan took the Chair.

At 4:12 p.m., Michelle Rempel took the Chair.

At 4:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:32 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Lori MacDonald, Natasha Kim and Harpreet Kochhar answered questions.

At 4:57 p.m., Jenny Kwan took the Chair.

At 5:05 p.m., Michelle Rempel took the Chair.

At 5:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
