Minutes of Proceedings
The Committee commenced consideration of a interim draft report.
It was agreed, — That the interim draft report be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the interim report be entitled: "New Tools for the 21st Century – The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration and the Global Compact for Refugees: An Interim Report".
It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its interim report any dissenting or supplementary opinions provided that they do not exceed the length of the original report, in the same style and format as the report (Calibri, 12 point, left aligned); they be submitted electronically to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at noon (EST), and that the Clerk submit any dissenting or supplementary opinions to translation.
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and Analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the interim report.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the interim report to the House.
At 5:33 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
