Minutes of Proceedings
At 3:34 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 3:38 p.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That the Committee cover the costs of hospitality, up to a maximum of $600, arising from the working lunch on Monday, February 22, 2016, with the delegation from the Secretariat of Agriculture of Mexico.
It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food to appear as early as possible to discuss his mandate; and that, during his appearance, the Minister be accompanied by one or more officials from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
It was agreed, — That the Committee invite officials from the Department as early as possible to give a presentation entitled “Overview of the Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food System”.
It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure hold a meeting on February 24, 2016, if the Minister is not available to appear or if departmental officials are not available to give a presentation entitled “Overview of the Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food System” and to respond to questions.
It was agreed, — That no meeting be held on Monday, February 22, 2016.
At 4:20 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
