The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 9:46 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the proposed travel itinerary to the Western Region, scheduled for October 2 to October 6, 2016 be postponed and rescheduled to the week of November 21, 2016 provided that the Committee gets the approval of the Liaison Committee and the permission of the House to travel, following the new travel proposal which is to visit Abbotsford (BC); Lethbridge (Alberta) and Saskatoon (Saskatchewan) with public hearings in Lethbridge.

It was agreed, — That the proposed travel dates to the Eastern Region, scheduled for October 23 to October 27, 2016 be maintained, but the itinerary be changed, by removing Saint-Hyacinthe and replacing it with Granby, and moving the public hearings from Kentville to Granby, provided that the Committee gets the approval of the Liaison Committee and the House permission to travel. The new itinerary will be as follows: Travel to Niagara Region (ON), Guelph (ON), Granby (QC) with public hearings and Kentville (N.S).

It was agreed, — That the two new budget proposals be prepared and submitted to the Liaison Committee, and that, they should be within the amounts allocated by the Liaison Committee on the previous requests.

At 9:57 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
